From a routine cleaning to a full-mouth implant restoration, almost everything you need is done in our Mesa office by Dr. Thomas Turner. We pair time-tested dentistry with modern tools — handheld digital X-ray, a 3D in-mouth scanner, and a Waterlase MD laser.
The everyday work that keeps your mouth healthy and pain-free. Done well, in one place, by a dentist who has been practicing here since 1999.
Tooth-colored composite restorations that blend with your natural enamel — no silver showing when you smile or laugh.
A conservative, custom-fit alternative when a tooth needs more than a filling but isn't ready for a full crown.
Full-coverage restorations to protect a compromised tooth, or a bridge to span a gap. Impressions captured with our 3D scanner — no goopy trays.
Removes the infected or damaged nerve, eliminates the pain, and saves the tooth. We fully anesthetize the nerve before we begin — see the FAQ below.
When a tooth has to come out, we extract carefully and, where appropriate, preserve bone with a graft so future implant or bridge options stay open.
Scaling and root planing for patients with gum disease — getting below the gumline to remove the buildup a routine cleaning can't reach.
"Implants are a superior way to replace missing teeth, in one area or the whole mouth. They help maintain bone in areas where teeth are missing."
Implant technology has been used for many years and is, for most patients, better than dentures or partials for chewing and appearance.
If you've lost a tooth, an implant works similar to one of your natural teeth. In consultation with Dr. Turner, a periodontist surgically places the implant in your jaw. After healing, Dr. Turner places an abutment that connects the implant body to the crown you see above the gumline. The final restoration looks and functions like a natural tooth.
If you have few or no teeth remaining, a full-mouth implant set can give you back your smile and your chewing ability. The All-On-4® method uses a series of 4-6 implants per arch to support a permanently placed prosthetic. The implants keep the prosthetic stable and preserve bone.
Whether you're replacing a single tooth or a span of teeth, an implant-supported restoration anchors directly to the jaw rather than relying on neighboring teeth for support.
If you're considering implants, please ask Dr. Turner about what options may be best for you. We hope we can make you smile.
Small, considered changes that make a meaningful difference in how your smile looks and feels.
Custom-molded trays you wear at home on your schedule — built to fit your bite, not a one-size guard.
For deep extrinsic staining, the Waterlase MD can remove discoloration that bleaching trays alone won't budge.
A laser-based reshaping of the gumline for a more balanced smile — quicker healing and less bleeding than traditional cutting.
Dr. Turner started his laser training in North Carolina in 2006 and purchased his Waterlase MD hard- and soft-tissue laser at the beginning of 2007. He holds an associate fellowship in soft-tissue lasers, plus an associate fellowship and a full fellowship in hard-tissue lasers — all from the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI).
In practical terms: many procedures can be done with less anesthetic, less bleeding, and faster healing than traditional tools allow.
Reshaping the gumline for cosmetic or restorative purposes.
Targeted treatment of areas affected by periodontal disease.
A quick laser treatment that can shorten healing time and reduce pain.
Hard- and soft-tissue laser, in continuous use in this practice since 2007.
The office was built from scratch in 2020 around current tools and ergonomics — so the equipment you encounter on a routine visit is genuinely current, not retrofitted into an older space.
Handheld intraoral X-ray units take clear digital images more quickly and with less radiation than older wall-mounted setups.
Impressions for crowns, bridges, and implants are captured digitally — no gooey material, no trays. You can watch the model build on screen as we scan.
Hard- and soft-tissue laser used for gum recontouring, decontamination of infected tissue, cold sore treatment, and stain removal.
The procedure most patients worry about most. Here is how Dr. Turner explains it.
